I am going to try to post more regularly, but who I am kidding...I am inherently lazy.
I had my brother come down and visit from San Francisco this past weekend and I thought I would attempt to show him all that Los Angeles has to offer, so I took him to a fair in Huntington Beach...haha, cruel I know.
I decided to pack up the XT2 and the 56 1.2 and head on out. Lately I've only been bringing one lens whenever I shoot in order to help create a sense of cohesion between the shots and for the most part it has worked out.
The 56 is a beautiful piece of glass and surprisingly small for being f/1.2. The hood adds some length, but the flare on this lens can be bit a ridiculous sometimes, so it is a necessity.
It only took us 3 hours to get there because traffic was actually somewhat light that day.
When we arrived, it was a cool and breezy 92 degrees fahrenheit and thankfully for once in my life I actually wore shorts.
What follows below are some of my favorites images of the day. The lens performed beautifully, sharp when it needed to be, and the electronic shutter on the XT2 meant that I was able to shoot at f/1.2 in broad daylight (because why else would you want to shoot at any other aperture?).
Here are a few shots that I liked. These were all shot in Classic Chrome, transferred via wifi to my phone and edited in LightRoom mobile. As I stated before, I am lazy and haven't edited on my computer in ages, which is a testament to how awesome Fuji's JPG's are.
Enjoy...or don't, I'm a blog post, not your mom. You're your own person, so just be you :)
